i tried my hardest to make a music career since 16. im 24 now and ive realised that what i love doing only has about a 1 in a million chance of working out as a career. it hurt but i accepted it. so my new goal is finding a way to have enough free time to at least keep up with it as a hobby. hoping to land something work from home to make this happen.

>1) Make the site better
-Add support for more formats like .webp and .avif
-Create a "blue /b/" where people can post SFW random and off-topic stuff.
-Rangeban India
-Remove global rule 3b, but clarify that "racebait" and racial shitflinging can be punishable under trolling/derailing/low quality posting.
-Possibly open a merch store to sell official 4chan merch to offset server costs?
-Maybe make an adult videogames/H game board.
-Officially declare 4chan as an "anime website".
>2) make the site culturally relevant again
Why is 4chan losing cultural relevance a bad thing? It means less tourists and normalfags coming to shit up our boards.

I have an AAS in a programming-related field. I should've known better but I thought I would maybe be able to get a job with just that but I'm a fucking retard. Couldn't even get internships. Now I've enrolled to get a full CS/SE bachelor's degree at a decent university but I know that won't be enough even if I take full advantage of the career and internship programs there.
The thing is, when I was getting my associate's, they had me take a bunch of classes that offer certification for other computer-related things like networking, cybersec, cloud, etc. that I never bothered with because I wanted to be a cooder.
So what I want to ask is, what are the employment prospects for such tech certificates? Cisco and the like. Would I be better ditching programming altogether and just going for networking or is the job market for that fucked as well?
