Not that I'm disagreeing with what you're saying specifically, but it's sad to look back on Silver Wolf's first run, in which she was generally considered the most future proof character as she provided strong DEF down and created a weakness that could be exploited regardless of the circumstances.

A mere 12 months later she was powercrept into non-viability because the meta moved away from either of those aspects actually being important. It's really hard to say what is going to have mileage in these games because the rules and tools available can change on the fly.
