I earnestly believe assuming someone who uses they/them is non-binary is retarded. Kris is ambiguous in many ways, right down to any expression of emotion from them being portrayed with a standing, stoic sprite while we're told by characters outside of them how they even said it. They actively hide information from us, not just the Shelter Code, but details of their own life, what they like, and it's not limited to us. Nobody knows Kris. The entire game is emphasising how nobody truly KNOWS Kris. If people are going to assert one true identity on them without first letting them say it outright, then it is worse than people who are doing it just to piss off people like you.
I fucking hate every single person in this argument and the lack of nuance surrounding it.
