Honestly it somewhat depends who you ask? The races are at different lengths and horses have different abilities. So no single race will define the grandest horse of them all. That being said, if you want what fans put the most stock in, I'd sayyy-

1. The Triple Crown races- And the Derby in particular- Are arguably what get the most 'attention'. Winning the Derby frequently will get a horse labelled the 'Ace' of it's generation. Winning all three is virtually enough to get you mentioned in the GOAT conversation.

2. The Arima Kinen.

3. The Japan Cup. Especially if you're Special Week and get to beat up a Frenchie during it. (Montjeu's loss is a meme but let's not rain on the parade of Spe-chan too much).

>Similar era to Silence Suzuka, whose so incredibly popular that her mere presence would draw in fans.
