You're under no compulsion to buy ugly or horrible trash in a free market society. The only theoretical problem with buying Asian stuff is that your money goes to Asia but if you like the Jap artists then support them sure. Most people don't care where they buy from, they'll buy slave labor Temu stuff because it's cheap apparently.
Putting money back into your own community is important but videogames are kind of exempt from that I guess.
