The coyote is just alright, I think people are in a honeymoon period with it right now, and since automatics are usually pretty bad, that exacerbates things somewhat. Personally, I'm still feeling that nerfed status procs with this gun, you almost have to put as many bullets into the mob to kill it if you want to set it on fire, and if you time it wrong and move on to the next enemy, it often doesn't actually kill the bug with the full fire DOT.
Since it doesn't flinch anything besides hunters and smaller, I almost don't see why you would use this over the cookout on the cave maps. Cookout keeps the bugs pushed back and the spread is wide enough to coat multiple mobs at once, plus you never truly have downtime with it since you can reload between shots. I think the biggest issue is comparing this to the lib pen. If not for the drum mag, why would you ever take it over the coyote?
Anyways, cool gun but comparing this to the meta picks of eruptor, crossbow, cookout, blitzer, scorcher, or purifier, and I'm not sure where I would justify bringing it over them.
