I just turned 30. A Zillenial as some call it, cause my older sibling is mid 30s, kids, house, and dead center of the Millennials which I cannot relate to (economy screwed us, like GenZ). I'm also definitely not a zoomer, but I get both sides. There are always the "transition" generations between each range (my parents are super young boomers/oldest GenX) My age range, I swear, we had it the best.
We weren't old and outdated like 90s or 2000s, because the 2010s had all the fun stuff in its golden era; we had social media, smartphones, FB, early IG, house parties were lit--Project X was the big movie that just FUELED more house parties. I'm talking degenerate pool parties, girls, dr*gs, jungle juice, impromptu raves in parks, generator with speakers, car rides to cottages for lake parties, all with technology, video games, movie-like prom and fun stuff that was already THERE, but only got revised in the 2020s.
2012/2014/2016 era was just perfect--no COVID lockdowns, felt like less global conflicts, less stress, and things were just peak.
We played outside as kids, while getting into our teens with PS3, smartphones, and college/uni was wild.
Then, as the world moved closer towards the late 2010s, things got worse. The world changed multiple times, and I swear I feel like "fun" itself has died. I heard from friends' younger siblings, who had their HS senior years--the most IMPORTANT years going into the lockdowns.
They never recovered and still feel they lost out on the best time of their life, which carried into the antisocial college days of the 2020s. Honestly, I don't blame them, it's depressing. GenZ is more depressed, medicated, more nihilistic, antisocial, obsessed with __maxing or __pilling, gender war, culture sucks ass, everything is just worse.

Zillenials were the last boat off a sinking ship, and that was the grand finale, the last party boat that went out with a bang and was perfect in every way. Wouldn't trade those years for the world.
