I knew this would happen back when I heard that they're going to adapt the manga. Most people really fucking struggle with the Rashomon effect for some reason.

The second I saw that the "fans" of this manga use words like "/pol/tard" and "rightoids" and casually shit on Japan I knew that this was somehow tainted. Then I read the more recent chapters, checked the mangaka background and my suspicion was proven correct. Good artwork, nice paneling, boring writing and characters that only got worse once the author couldn't hold back from inserting her unironic Tumblr-tier politics.
