If only Sareel Ja's "death" was voice acted, people would have LOVED Dawntrail. That was the issue right there. Not the Blue's Clues tier story, not the rubber bullets, not Poochie, it was because that one scene didn't have voice acting.

Dude it gets worse. I don't know if you're still playing, but the Mamool Ja tribe quests right now are about growing food. In one of the main quests the Sharlayan chick helping them asks if they've ever tried letting sunlight in. The lizard says yeah, they've tried forever, and it's not possible. You go to Heritage Found and they realize that lamps exist. The Sharlayan asks Bakool Ja Ja's dad if he can make a magic sunlamp. He casually says "oh yeah I can do that, go get me this easily available material for the invocation", and you make sunlamps that allow them to actually grow food. It's fucking ludicrous. He already knew how to make a sun lamp and they just never did it.
