On one hand I don’t think the whole series should just outright die after a single dud, but on the other hand I genuinely don’t trust NLG with video games going forward let alone with strikers. Overall though it may be better to let the sports games die if their recent output is anything to go by, and i’n sure you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who disagreed

Anyone else notice a distinct bias towards MK8 in terms of the music remixes? All the other MK games got choice remixes of their most notable tracks and themes, meanwhile 8 got a remix of literally every single one of its tracks and even its fucking theme song. Hell, most of said tracks even got 2 versions
Even outside of that a lot of the other remixed tracks from other MK games were of tracks that were featured in 8 as retro tracks

They’ll have to engage eventually if the backlash keeps up at this level. 99% isn’t 100%. Remember how the splatoon world champions from last year got cancelled for leaked dm’s? Eventually they had to address it following backlash to where they stripped them of their title, removed all videos on the event, and even got rid of their special in-game banner. Not expecting a formal apology, but they this isn’t one of those things that can be shrugged off especially given all the surrounding factors ($80, only game they got atm, etc.)

Exactly how would they anyway without redoing the whole open world? The issue is lack of twist and turns and them just being straight lines. Only way would be to further clutter the road which just turns them into obstacle courses. Not disagreeing, just that it’s not as easy as you may think
