AH knows exactly what the community is capable of in terms of planet liberation since liberation progress is literally a formula of how long they give us due to the mechanics of liberation cap. The players actually have very little influence over hold or liberate objectives unless the community ignores a key chokepoint to go fight squids or something, which is why we failed to hold those bot planets last month. Failing these objectives feels bad but it at least feels like we made a genuine misstep.

However they have put their foot in their mouth with these kill orders. They obviously have statistics for how many of these enemies we kill in a specific time frame and are... ignoring them completely. 5 million leviathans? 5,000,000 troops with railcannon strikes? That's just ridiculous.

Their only mistake is moving the goalposts so obviously. They clearly have a button that slowly cranks up the progress on the bar over time regardless of player contribution but also choose to surface things like +1,000,000,000% spawn rates and lowered kill requirements.
