it seemed like you were getting good advice so i didn't say much
the awareness you have is good
a therapist will talk to you and try to resolve things, a psychiatrist will talk and try to give the right meds to fix whatever problems you have
the wards can be bad, and the system has problems, but the therapists themselves are just individual people, and you can always shop around for a good one, atleast in the US
