Also, immigrant labor can make projects possible that otherwise would not be, and some of the jobs for this project go to American workers.

Why don't you provide some actual economic data that proves that immigrant labor is currently depressing American wages. I find that very hard to believe considering our median house income has significantly risen even after adjusted for inflation, and our unemployment rate is low.

Wages are higher in USA today, even after adjusted for inflation. We pay more for housing, but a lot less for food/clothing.

I would not press a button to bring us back to the 1960's economy because the economy is better today.

1. Median income has risen substantially since 1990. This graph is misleading.
2. We as consumers benefit from productivity increases. That's why food, and consumer electronics are so cheap for us. Framing productivity increase as a bad thing not a good way to look at the world. The problem is the industries that productivity has not increased substantially (construction, health care). Increase in productivity has made all our lives better.
3. This is not a refutation to my argument: You can confiscate all the wealth from every billionaire, and you wouldn't be able to run the federal government for a year with it, even if you could liquidate their assets at current market value.
