You should be grinding personal projects to please yourself. A venn diagram of what i do for 'work' and as a hobby would be a perfect circle and some employers like to see that since it shows that not only are you good at it, but you enjoy it enough to do it in your personal time

Both my boss and my bosses boss interviewed me and both specifically asked me "on a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate your skills" and I told them "6" because im knowledgable enough to know what i know, but also self-aware about what i dont know which is a negating factor.

I got a new remote job 3 months ago and it has been going well and im enjoying the work that I am doing and management has said they like my work as well. But i haven't talked to or met a coworker irl since 2018 and decided to attend the company meetup next week where they fly me out to some state that i cant even conceal carry in. I know one coworker who is my level of sperg/autism but idk im worried i might embarass myself
