don't underestimate the power of pettiness and butthurt. it really can ruin games
i prefer to play stuff unmodded or with just a few mods i chance every run to keep stuff interesting.
the more you like mods, the more you are tied to the modding circlejerk that can eventually lead to a dramatic collapse of everything related to it. that is why i often play years old versions of games with the stuff and mods i like instead of joining that bullshittery. that is why i'm still stuck playing the versions i liked. ie. still on a 2017 or 18 version of cdda and at no point have i wanted to move forwards since then. every game is the same. staying on the version you like and the mods that worked with that is ok instead of being forced to move on and adapt to what ever damn circlejerk drama some tranny modders cook up at some point before intentionally ruining things for everyone since they spite some other modder
modders are sometimes cancer, a good game and good mods&versions of mods for it are good, keeping up with what goes on on the background is just bullshit. i like game, i play game even if it is years old version
