I assumed it was the same as why they made Outer Worlds 2 like $90 or whatever. They make the price a premium to encourage most people to get it on Gamepass, because subscriptions are worth far more than one off sales. Most people will cancel, but some won't. And the more that don't, the better off you are.

The game was way too easy and pretty forgettable besides cousin sex and Meli
