I like good ones
hades is not a good roguelite. It misses the point of the addictive gameplay loop of roguelites which is: replayability. Hades has virtually 0 replayability, you beat it once and you have seen 99.99% of what the game has to offer. Boons are watered down garbage upgrades and most gods I would avoid on principle because their gimmick was so weak you didn't want to touch their shit with a 10 foot pole (poseidon).
Meanwhile the game's difficulty is non-existant because you can abuse the fuck out of i-frames and stunlock the entire room with dash attacks. Redditors naturally retort with: b-but when you sink 100 hours in and get to Heat level 500 and enemies just 1 shot you the game is hard! Fuck off nigger.
And then you have the worst shit to have ever been added to roguelites aka meta progression. Because the one thing every roguelite fan wanted is to re-experience the 2nd job experience of MMOs where you beat the game 200 times for +1% hp and a single weapon upgrade.
I have 0 fucking clue why anyone sucks off this garbage when even shitty roguelites like enter the gungeon and ror2 kick its ass. I do know the reason: its marketing budget was fuckhuge before release. Same reason no one talks about the sequel because it has 0 marketing and it lacks decent gameplay to get word of mouth advertising.
