there's a section in one of the ultima segmentum books that has a sequence pertaining to the four's more final designs for the grand expanses of the galaxy in the form of vast demon fortresses that begin to blot out the spaces between the stars, a contingent of astartes ships coming face to face with a fathomlessly large facet of such a structure and needing to pull the fuck out of their trajectory
