The whole Ukranian war is boiling the Russian frog in exchange for disposable non-Western lives. If we killed the Russians too quick we couldn't humiliate them and we’d have to worry about Ukraine becoming too powerful and biting through the tight leash we have around their throats. Everything is going according to plan.
