I've seen many different exercises recommended, but stretching the hip flexors, and strengthening the glutes and abs seem the most important.

pain? pain shouldn't be happening
a stretch yes but it shouldn't hurt

anterior pelvic tilt
i have this bad and i am really trying to fix it, for real this time, i swear. if you have accomplished this or have any advice please post it.
i’ve been walking five miles every day and while i walk and i can definitely feel that my lower back is under too much stress. it has always been this way; i am fat now but i haven’t always been fat but my lower back has always hurt after walking or running. i don’t know what to do about it though. sometimes i try to flatten my lower back, like in picrel on the floor, but that just feels weird. sometimes i will try to engage my glutes like i have seen anons here say worked for them, but that feels weird too. i am pretty sure the root cause is that my hip flexors (and quads) are very tight, so i have been stretching them.
