In ’97 this game took the cake Squaresoft hit its limit break
FFVII sales were high you hit your stride not a dry eye when Aerith died
But your plot had mile wide gaping holes mostly riding on visuals
Such a tech leap but the story curve was steep still fanboys say you’re number one
Ambitious gutsy a wonderful blunderful fantastical mess that kicked butt

Amazing how the genre peaked on the PS1 and quickly went down hill after this.
