Vivi is obviously the main problem (someone needs to force it into Gavin Verhey's head that temporary mana isn't an inherently lesser form of mana), but realistically the best thing to do without starting a riot would be to ban Cauldron. It meets most of the criteria they used for banning the cards they banned back in June and was designed before they moved to the 3-year system. Banning Vivi so soon would not only freak out the newfound market and community the game has acquired, but it would also be seen as an even bigger middle finger to those that were pissed off by the pre-rotation bannings. Besides, people would still be able to play with Vivi, just without nearly as much consistency.

I like Vivi as a character so I'm glad he ended up so good at least. Kind of wanted more Black Mage cards in general though, personally disappointed they didn't make one card each for the FF1 classes at least and just have the Job Select equipment cards instead.
