Personally I thought it was cool that the final boss is basically a mixture of builds. Swapping from INT to DEX + Pyro to Faith was very cool.

I could even forgive the gwyn nostalgia bait if it made any fucking sense whatsoever. The dude has been dead for thousands of years. He's been gone so long that people in the second game dont even remember his name. In Ds1 he's so far gone you're basically fighting a living corpse. No way he somehow manages to stick around as a ghost for 5000 years and then possess this amalgamation thing, so fucking retarded.

That plus the "Gwyn was literally hitler" shit from the DLC was stupid. Miyazaki made an interesting character then added a statue of him stepping on an emaciated holocaust survivor just to show how one dimensionally evil he actually was whoooo what a twist

I'm in a group that finished a game of DnD and the GM continued the campaign. We finished the goal of the campaign, defeated the Big Evil, everyone was about to finish up their characters, but GM said we aren't done.
You can tell everyone was silent when the needle dropped and they already lost interest when there was no surprise twist villain and no extra goal, like what the fuck are we to do? We continued out of niceness bumbling through the sessions, but this has been going for weeks and everyone is too confused to say anything.

What evil seed germinated in your black heart to make you like this? Letting your little niece or nephew win (and making it a "close fight") is the best feeling in the world. It makes your soul glow.
Of course if they get smug and uppity about it thats when you crush them.

Im convinced that Spamton was "lightning in a bottle" since nothing in Ch3 or Ch4 has come close. Hell even Queen is more likable, funny, and heartfelt than most of the new characters we've met.
You can maybe attribute this to the fact that Ch1 / 2 are "the start" and now we're in the "rising action" part of the plot. But something's missing.
Further evidence: Toby said he wasn't sure if anyone would like Spamton when Ch2 was in development. Again, telling me he's having trouble with designing memorable characters. Tenna was weak 99% of the time, up until the one (admittedly good) family memory scene.
