The so called "based" Democracy falls apart when you realise this - the average person is not a thinking person. Not as a derogatory insult, but they genuinely cannot be bothered to care. They wake up, eat breakfast, go to work, come back home, and do whatever. Whether that is playing Call of Duty, Forklift Simulator, watching videos or lord knows what.
The political parties given to you are, to put it simply, choosing between two lesser evils. Or four. Or several.
All the political parties exist to fatten their pockets and only improve some aspects in the state, but not what the state really needs.
You might read the "ideas" that Party A has, and think "yeah I can get behind that", then read what Party B has to offer, which also has some good ideas. But for some reason, Party A and B don't want to team up. Party C wants to improve the general well-being of most people, but because they are relatively new, nobody cares for them. Then there's Party D which exists purely because old people are grumpy old bastards that want to see newer generations burn, lest they get a chance to prosper.
What would be my solution to it all? I don't know. It's a necessary evil that I will do my best to stay away from as far as possible. It's nothing you can directly influence, without switching to more drastic measures.
But yeah helldivers, uhhhhhhhhhhhh, cool that we get free stalwarts huh?
