I don't feel like I fully understand the concept of heaven. Sin is a result of free will and being an autonomous human. If heaven is free of sin, we lose any ability to sin, the good we do isn't by choice or morality, it's the only thing we can do. What purpose does a man find in heaven? What does he devote eternal time doing? Does it not feel wrong that life is a short test and those who fail it face a similarly endless punishment?
Even if I was told I was going to heaven, it would seem scary to me. Like my soul would just be forever trapped non-self governing state. No ability to interact with my world before and no way of saving those that didn't make it up with me, including those I spent my life with.
To a certain extent, it feels like I'd just become data in an afterlife. Some non-physical form, like an AI NPC just drifting in some computer simulation. The whole idea gives me anxiety.
