I was telling zoom zooms to save 38 bucks and buy war of the loins. For first time players why not.
For vets though, the job patching has made it a completely new game. Magic and guns doing real damage is so unlike the original.
That doesnt even get into the new writing which goes fucking hard. The villian monologues are top tier. The church demon discussing Nietzchie with good voice acting was the best gaming Ive done this year.
Leveling up for hard is FF2 awful, and the 3 man pub jobs are a straight downgrade but overall cant recommend this game enough for oldheads.

It was a shit game but Im starting to get scared about the tiktokification of the masses. Rebirth threads have tons of Anons bitching the game was too hard to follow and pay attention too. FF16 was too smart and anons couldn't get past GoT. TotK was a 82 IQ game. Books and 4x is dying while Gacha, MMOs and GAAS dominate the industry.
