You are wrong. I'm a MiG21 enjoyer and most of the MiG21BIS and LAZUR-M are are from all aspect point blank shots. And it gets 2 more missles, and a better engine, you will always win in a dogfight against a J7D.
The PL7 are extremly manouverable but no, they barely connect after 1.5km. They can be used safely only in a late game scenario in a 1v1. PL5B are extremly good, but you need to know and use the spotting system to get them to kill reliably. Yes the fov is narrow, but it really comes into play only when sub 250m. And the J7D flight performances are hideous.
It works only because ARB players are totally retarded and don't even try to put a couple of neurons into the game. A F-5C CANNOT ever lose against a J7D assuming the same level of skill of both the pilots, for example.
