I have a chronic disease that is likely to eventually kill me, and I just discovered there is a brand new drug that can really slow its progression.
I booked an appointment with my doc on the 28th of July to ask him how I can get my hands on it (it's EU approved but not yet available here).

Apparently it's grossly overpriced but taxpayers foot the bill.

The company that makes it is Nasdaq: TVTX

I know nothing about healthcare stocks and I have never invested in one, but literally millions of people have my disease and until now there has not been a pill. It's not a cure but seems like a lifetime management pill. Literally going from 0 to 1.

I might buy some just because it maybe saves my life or lets me live past 60-70.

Anon I was going to call my bank to put some more money into VWCE tomorrow but I have a doctor's appointment so I am going to do it on Friday.

The market will not sell off until after I have made the purchase, so sleep easy. Tomorrow will be fine. Friday is questionable.
