Seeing how taxes are only going up no matter what or who we vote in, I do think this is a rational decision and worth considering.
>+5% tax = significantly lower crime
>+5% tax = an abundance of safe neighborhoods (no longer needing to be crabs in a bucket)
>+5% tax = social cohesion and greater peace of mind at night
Once our countries would hypothetically be safe and stable we could even lower our domestic taxes while continuing to pay the 5% to China and probably still end up with less of a tax burden on the American and European people than we have now lol.
