Considering how many of these enemies the game throws at me, I'm sure I'll eventually learn the animations of these guys in and out and perfectly master them over time, but it's hard to deny that Kuro Games definitely designed these enemies with a bullshit Elden Ring mindset of "I'm gonna purposefully give this enemy misleading animations to troll the player into making mistakes".
It feels like the most Elden Ring enemy in the game, alongside the big golems that slam their fists into the ground, only to cause a small AOE explosion around the point of impact a few seconds later (which dozens and dozens of enemies in Elden Ring had).
