This all falls on AMD
Only way I'll buy an AMD card is if it's free.
I started with an Nvidia card and the only time I experienced significant problems with any piece of PC hardware is when I "upgraded" from a GTX 560 Ti to an R9 380 based on a recommendation from AMD evangelists.

Oh yeah it was faster but the CTDs and the visual issues in some games make it suck. I held on to it it because "muh AMD fine wine" but every driver just fixed one thing to bring another.
>inb4 that was a decade ago, things are better
They where supposed to be better then too.

>How in fuck did Western Marxism

People will tell you a lot of things, but it was mostly the commodification of Marxism/Socialism as a brand that did it. I think the specific term for it is Champaign Socialism. For a while the Federal Government was mortified of Socialists, Marxists, and they would capture people, arrest people, survey actors, artists, intellectuals in university, for communist sympathetic thought, and this in turn cultivated a really powerful anti-authoritarian counter culture. Nowadays they just give them rainbow Oreos and make sure Hasan Piker doesn't get banned off of Twitch. The whole social process has very much been outsourced and astroturfed to "others", in an almost pornographic fashion insomuch that the individual doesn't feel any desire to actually do anything: they watch a streamer, they donate a dollar to some "ethical company", and then they move on with their lives - or until they get upset again.

>how come japan is so bad at making video games?

The better question is: why do Americans EXCEL at making pc games?
Most of all the console games we like are from Japan (they used to be at any rate), but *every single* 10/10 pc game was made by Westerners. What's up with that?

>Oh neat, another wacky HL1 scientist survival game to waste days of my life into.
>Tell me more about it.

This, but earnestly.
Voices of The Void really endeared me to the concept and I've been enjoying myself. The shittier graphics and clumsy physics system are also a way better vehicle for horror. I also thought it was stupid originally, but being able to upload your own images, music, and/or video playlists, and have them as sprays, posters, or play them on in-game machines is actually very fun & charming.

I was gonna comment on the food as well - that's an entire fucking ham. Do any of you guys happen to know how big a ham is? Or what it is? It's like the inner thigh of a pig. A ham, a ham ontop of some kind of unappetizing slab of unleavened bread and two entire wedges of cheese, is fucking insanity. They're never going to poop again. This is an alien replicating Earth food based off of stock images.

I have a personal theory that you can immediately tell if a piece of artwork or media is grounded in any kind of reality by food presentation. It's kind of the idea that food is both innocuous, but also a fundamental anchor in how a reality is going to function. Imagine if you were playing a game, or watching a movie, and everybody in it only had one shoe on or everybody wore hats, and it wasn't some conscious art decision, but a product of the literally everyone producing this piece of shit being the most cloistered ignorant non-person you could imagine.
