All civilizations bordering the Mediterranean Sea were founded in antiquity by the same general race of peoples that you could broadly categorize as white.
The trans-Saharan slave trade, beginning at least 5k years ago, introduced black slaves into those lands, resulting in their subsequent browning and eventual collapse.
Ascribing any of those ancient civilizations to non whites is both incorrect and asinine.
