Why would there have been? It sucks, but, we were never meant to exist in this world. We were brought into it to fulfill a purpose, a goal, save the world. That is our sole reason, these people had a life before us and will have one after us. We have a role, a mission, we are simply supposed to meet with our desire, end the game.
