Weapons was unironically good
It’s rare to see such a poignant metaphor for how substance abuse ruins the lives of loved ones

There have been some entertaining movies and some genuinely good ones but they are few and far between
Joker, BR2049, OUATIH, the lighthouse, wolf of Wall Street, the Northman, the vvitch, hereditary, aftersun, leave no trace, let me in (came out in 2010), Apocalypto (2006), Death of Stalin, The Menu (it was different and I liked it even if the plot was dumb), Top Gun Maverick (great popcorn movie. Not every good movie has to be Fellini), The Cursed, Under the Silver Lake, John Wick (the first one), Eastern Promises (2007), Drive, The Prestige, In Bruges, Mars Express, Big Bad Wolves, Your Name, Ghost Stories, Edge of Tomorrow, Coraline (2009), Paprika (2006), Mad Max: Fury Road (furiosa was boring to me though), Inception, The Dark Knight
When people fold their arms and jut out their jaw and say “every movie from the last half century has been shit”, it feels like they’re trying too hard
>there have been no good movies this year
>oh yeah!? Well I haven’t liked any movies this decade
>piffle. You two aren’t out of kindergarten yet. I haven’t enjoyed a movie this Millenium
>*electric thrumming sounds* SILENCE. I AM THE ALPHA AND OMEGA ANON. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED PLEASURE AT ANY MEDIA EVER.
