One of my coworkers in my first full time job had a disabled kid with some chromosome deletion syndrome. By far one of the nicest guys I ever worked with. But his son was useless, destructive, and a burden. At some point, his now-teenaged son had assaulted so many medical staff that nobody was willing to care for him. Coworker took him out to a park, slit his throat, then killed himself by nail-gunning himself in the head until he died.
I'm not going to blame him for why I don't have kids, but after it happened, the topic of kids with my wife triggered the fuck out of me. I was terrified of the notion of bringing something like that into the world that might drive me or her to something like that. People with these disabilities are a blight on society that torment good people with their needs.
