I'm kind of sick of this type of horror where it's not particularly scary, tense, gripping or thrilling, but tries makes you say "damn that that would be crazy if it happened irl"
It's some sort of zoomer millennial writing/directing with these a24 indie movies that make them feel different than older films or big studios
It's like their purpose is to farm "I'd need sooo much therapy if that happened to me haha" reactions
they try to feel "more real" with down to earth actors and sets but they end up being lame and gay
might just be me being autistic about directing and cinematography
