you do realize you're saying it's super bad cancer, yet posted an image that's a reference from the cartoon which was probably referencing andrew wyeth's famous painting. the literary significance of a social darwinist villain at stonehenge is the elephant in the room. the age of apocalypse (which takes place on an earth covered in radioactive fallout from global nukes) was a political warning fable against bigotry and injustice. you get that, right? you do realize that apocalypse calls himself a god and has tech from higher beings, so to fight him means the heroes have to fight god, right?

OP is correct

fun fact: in generation x, issue minus 1, dark beast arrives from the Age of Apocalypse timeline and encounters emma frost in the morlock tunnels. x-writers never follow up on this, but if he groomed her to be evil, it would make sense for her to have jumped from morlock lumpenproletarian to bourgeois hellfire club member. it would also explain dark beast's ability to be resistant to nate grey's psychic abilities, if he was able to convince her to let him use her mind to bolster his own permanently. lastly, it would explain why emma hates regular beast so much. she unconsciously hates him or maybe has been trying to sabotage him this entire time due to her interactions with dark beast. it would explain why she was a fucking bitch to 616 beast even though he was literally the only one that actually gave a shit enough to try to put her back together after she shattered
