I just don't play with chat or pings on because people tend to be too emotional over the video game.
I also don't look at peoples mistakes, or be critical of them if I can't laugh or joke about it in a friendly way.
I often gaslight myself and take responsibility if I'm the problem, and see how I could've played better to get the team ahead or win the vidya game.
If anything the game forces me to be a better person for the people around me.
