>What are you currently playing?
Dailies for the relic grind and wrapping up weekly stuff in FFXIV.
Depending on what frens are doing afterwards, I may try to do some raiding or go back to working through Alan Wake's DLC and then American Nightmare. Abd MTG Arena here and there.
>Any upcoming games that you're excited for?
Silent Hill F looks interesting enough and FF Tactics remaster, but I'm trying to avoid buying too many new games since my backlog is huge.

>Does anyone else feel this way?
I stopped caring about what everyone else likes and plays years ago. Now I only play what I like regardless if it's cool or cringe, and I'm content with gaming.

>been practicing wood carving a lot the last year
Based. That sounds like a nice hobby. Do you paint anything you carve or keep it natural?

>going back to school at 30+
Good luck, fren! I was 31 when I went back and got my bachelor's last year. I've been considering going for a masters, but life's taking a semi-weird turn. So I'm going to hold off for now.

>Do you guys know of any fun civlization builders?
City Skylines is good. Banished is comfy. So is Manor Lords if you're okay with it being in Early Access. Factorio or Rimworld if you want more of a colony builder that also brings on some challenges.

I recently hooked up my PS2 to play horror games on next month. I get where you're coming from. Having a Steam Deck or playing something with a controller vs. mouse/KB has helped a bit.

My garden got fucked by the summer heat again. I need to do more research and maybe test my soil too. I want a so-so harvest at least once.

I know that feel but it was on various vegetable plants. It hurts because everything started so well and then overnight, it was like it all died.
