> WHITE CLOVER
When I had a postage stamp lawn and a Rottweiler, I tried laying clover seeds mixed in grass seed and mud after she killed the lawn over the winter.
The boomer next door was seething,
Intentionally planting a weed….
But the clover held up all summer to a romping rottie and looked better than plain grass and it was out competing the grass seed mixed in and what was left of the old lawn, but boomers hate it like it’s virgina creeper or kudzu or Some other heinous shit.
I grew up in a neighborhood of steep hills, and tons of people terrace and clover/wildflower/ivy the part of their yard on a bad slope, and the clover and moss ones always held up much better than the ivy stuff that always takes over and goes where you don’t want it.
