Remasters are bad in general unless they have an option for unmodified original graphics with NO ASSETS changed (including the lighting). All remasters should do is bump up the resolution and frame rate, anything else is bullshit.

Remakes are fine if they are a totally different game, just using the same concept. RE2 remake for example is a completely different game just using the same scenario, there is value to both games existing.
