i dont care about difficulty if the gameplay loop doesnt feel fun to begin with.
i shoot bugs, i hear them scream and squeal. i see them shrivel up, i see them bleeding, i see body parts flying off. the stalkers keep twitching once you rape their assholes raw and spread democracy inside them.
you dont see that with the voteless. youre lucky to get a random animation of them flipping you the bird if you headshot them, other than that, they're boring as fuck to shoot and barely show any reaction to you blasting them.
overseers MIGHT drop on their knees and drop dead a second later, with fleshmobs doing the 180. but thats it. they're boring. no viscera. no gore. nothing.
all the different iterations of headshotting a devastator or bot trooper have more variaty than the entire squid faction.
