It's definitely not shoegaze - noise pop tho? A bit twee maybe? What genre is this?

The first Aussie Underground General: a thread for the posting and discussion of Australian underground music past and present.

I made this thread last week about the aus underground scene in the 90s/00s and it was pretty well received:

It was suggested in >>127346667 that we keep doing this and make it into a general of sorts. I have a lot more from the 90s/00s I can keep posting, as well as earlier and later stuff too. It would be cool if any aussie posters here shilled their current projects or their friends too.

What else would you want to see in an aussie general thread? Should we have any rules?

I made the Australian thread, glad you liked it. I went out to a gig last night and then slept all day and it no one bumped it so it got archived. Should I make another? I had tons more stuff from that era to post and tons more from before and after I could post too

I made a thread yesterday with my recommendations of aussie underground music from a couple decades ago. Gonna post most in there too. Look for picrel in the catalog (which is https://youtu.be/4EJkNrfq4eA?feature=shared )
Aussie underground 90s/00s
scene was amazing. I miss all the pub, warehouse, gallery etc shows. Listening again to all the good old underground stuff from down under lately. Thought I'd post some bands /mu/ might be interested in and hadn't heard, maybe there's other aussies floating around here that can post rarities and memories from this era too? Kiwis also welcome. Picrel is Alps of New South Wales LP (lofi downer pop from 2006) https://youtu.be/4EJkNrfq4eA?feature=shared
