tempted to smugly suggest well what if I'm inside a faraday cage at 3PM sunday but then I thought maybe they preload the alert so it would still go off inside the cage but then I thought nah surely they couldn't because in a real alert situation they wouldn't know of the event in advance so an actual robust test would need to be done live over the airwaves
