The thing for me is that in this current setup, I don't know how long I will actually use the monitor.
I've been using random chinese portable monitors and it was only meant to be a temp thing but now I've realised it'd been a year and decided to move on from it. But idk how much longer I'd keep it around for.
Why would you suggest the 1080p TUF over the 2K AOC? Are VA's really that bad? Why?
Just curious. I'm thinking I might stretch to the ROG, but it's just a heavy cost.

Still a hard choice. The ASUS does seem to have VRR which will work well for my PS5 I guess, I don't think the AOC does. Then there are also the speakers which should be handy. Just don't know if it's £40 handy and if VRR is even useful

I never understood wanting to move to Japan. Sure it's a nice country but you do have to be Japanese to really experience it's best aspects. You can't just move there, you'll basically be a pariah if you don't fully fit in with the culture. I don't even say that as a bad thing, if western countries were sensible they'd be the same way.
