>My starter winds up at level 53 by the time I fill out my team, they're all level like 25 at max
>Have to griiiiiiind them all out to level 40 before I take on Mt. Coronet

>Keep grinding my team, make it through Victory Road
>Nearly get my ass kicked by Barry in the Pokemon League lobby
>Realize this means I can't rely on my team for the Elite Four and especially against Cynthia
>Have to go back into Victory Road to griiiiiiiiiiiiiiind everyone out to level 55 before taking on the Elite Four
