Even putting bethesda's lack of talent and general shittiness the gore should look better, right? You're in first person, have more pixels to work with, up close.
But it's worse. It's just generic. It has nothing on Fallout's npcs getting torn to shreds with burst fire, melting them with plasma or cutting them in half with laser. Bloody Mess in nu-Fallout is one of the worst examples of visual diarrhea you can get.
Same goes for new Mortal Kombat, it's just live leak: the game. The original MK fatalities and gore were creative in comparison.
