That 1998 NFC championship game loss, where he had a legit 1A receiver on the other side to take the pressure off he had basically the same statline as he did in the super bowl: 6 catches, 75 yards, 1 TD. That's not terrible but it sure as fuck isn't GOAT shit. In the 2 biggest games of his career Moss was playing with good teammates on good teams and played like a regular dude having an above-average night.

Jerry Rice is untouchable. He had everything. Peak performance, work ethic, inhuman longevity, consistency. Randy Moss would torch DB's if he had a mismatch but never came up big in the games that would have changed his legacy, and that's on him. Doesn't mean he sucks don't don't tell me he's better than the guy who statmogs and ringmogs him in every way and who came up clutch in situations where Moss didn't. If Moss was better than Rice he'd be better and he's not. Fewer catches, fewer yards, fewer TDs, infinitely fewer rings because has ZERO.....there's not a single thing he was demonstrably better than Rice at.
