I am extremely nervous when my dad goes for a ride, like today he was longer than usual so I panicked and called him. I need to get him the cameras and varia asap. I used to cringe but people wearing bright colours are correct. Bight orange or pink like EF jersey. Getting bad out there. Genuinely could happen to any of us. Wonder if it has and we don't know. Stay safe out there berts and get cameras. No excuses. Worst case at least your family can get some closure.

What a bizarre day of WT racing we've had. We need a strong beer to soothe frazzled nerves in another spectacular edition of /WORLD TOUR WINE/ !!

Today's stage in Poland began and finished in Wałbrzych, but our beer is from same brewery as first stage in Miroslaw. Interestingly enough this is brewed with Ukranian hops. This is sort of a reverse Chernobyl situation -- in Chernobyl, Polish uranium was used to build the Ukranian reactor, while in this beer, Ukranian hops were used to brew this Polish beer.

Komes Imperial Stout ($7)

Parks dark brown with caramel highlights. No head to speak of. The nose is very raisinated, with toffee and roasted malt. The palate is just toffee and booze. It is very hot at 12%. There is some hop bitterness, a little bit of sour tang, but it is so dense, sweet, and boozy.

Not nearly as well put together as the Baltic porter. This will be a chore to drink, not my style and very heavy. Sad!

Sounds super gay but cyc should put together an ultimate cycling safety guide. Some must haves like cameras, radar, lights. Use our collective experience to provide examples of the products, like a varia or a gopro for example. Anyone with question remotely related to cycling safety can have a pastebin link to read through. I wonder if /n/ have done such a thing. I would imagine those autists have something to say about it, they're quite clued in. Just incredibly autistic.

Further evidence for the obvious:
>Michael Storer claims Pogacar held back in last week of Tour for PR reasons
>On stage nineteen, Arensman did it again. Only this time, it wasn't by slipping into the early breakaway; Arensman beat Pogacar and his teammates from the group of favorites. "Only Thymen could beat Tadej that day," Storer said. "But it's strange, because I have inside information that there was definitely a day when Tadej didn't want to win the stage."
>Storer isn't referring to stage nineteen, but to stage fourteen to Superbagnères. Arensman soloed to victory that day by dropping his fellow escapees just over 30 kilometers from the finish. Pogacar had put his team in the lead that day and seemed to still be in contention for the stage win, but changed his mind on the final climb.
>"I find it strange that you let your team go flat out all day and then decide on the final climb not to win," Storer pointed out. "The other time (the stage to La Plagne, ed.) he might not have had the legs, but on that one stage (the stage to Superbagnères, ed.) he told his teammates that he didn't want to go for it after all."
>"If you don't want to go for it, let the breakaway go (Storer referring to the small lead the breakaway gained, ed.). Don't burn your team out," Storer opined. The attacker then explained that he also knows the reason behind the striking decision. "Apparently, there were boos from the French fans. The team then decided it was better for Tadej not to win, to keep the French on their side. They also took that into account in the final week: they didn't want to win everything."

Which makes his "I'm paid to win" comments very stupid and short sighted. It isn't about sponsors being happy, they are no fools and they can see he could win if he pleases. Arensman won that stage because UAE didn't want Kuss to win, and ensured if he did go solo on the final climb they could deny that. Not the first time that's happened.

It is not a secret that you don't go and sweep up stages as the yellow jersey. Take your 3-4 and then settle back and let others race. They seem generally retarded as does poogacar. Very petty and emotional. If they didn't have the money and the biggest talent in the past 20 years they'd be absolutely nothing.

Alternatives look lackluster imo, plus the VW's are built for 300k miles. The 1.9 liter model looks more appealing as it should be somewhat more economical than the 2.5l and doesn't have as many faults to the engine. In general the VW's seem very well built and parts are always available but a little more expensive. But I will never be prepared for how painfully slow it'll be. Going to be very expensive, my biggest purchase. Already sad about my hatchback :(.

How likely is it that bora implodes because Remco, Roglic, and Lipo can’t agree on who is the leader of the pack?
Especially Lipo must feel fucked over, he just got hailed as the future star after upping Roglic and finishing third with little help, had his hopes up for more and had generated crazy hype in Germany … and then the team that just praised him gets Remco, who definitely won’t be going there to support someone else. Roglic surely also believes he’s still the best they have

I've spent about 8 years cycling around western Europe and I've always enjoyed it, but I'd love to do a bike packing trip through Japan. Because the nature and culture and life and geography just seems so different there from Europe, and it seems like a fairly chill country to cycle in (I'm not a japanophile or anything) but it's something I'd live to do. Djien dobry! What a frantic week of racing we've had! Cyclisme is a certified world-wide pandemic in August 2025, with racing in the Arctic circle, South America, Eastern Europe, Iberian Peninsula, France, and the Himalaya all in one day!!! What a great day to enjoy another /WORLD TOUR WINE/ (bier) !!

Today's stage in the Tour de Pologne departs from Katowice (which I only know from Counterstrike tournaments) and heads south, skirting the city of Tychy where today's beer is made. Despite regal origins dating back to the early 17th century, this is now owned by the Dutch and is a mass-produced lager. It is one of the most popular Polish beers with a 20% market share. By comparison, Anheuser-Busch is at 34% in the United States (I do admit, when I drink beer at a restaurant, I do ask for a Stella Artois).

Tyskie ($3)

Pours a transparent golden color with white mousse, quickly fading. The nose is lightly hoppy, lightly sweet. The palate opens with sweet bread and finishes with light bitter hops.

Clean, fine. Not interesting.

Photo avec le chien Bruxellois. He always has an interest whenever I open a beer.

Jonas is one of the best paid cyclist in the world and what does he have to show for it this year?
a Algave win and a 2nd place in the TDF, its simply not good enough the man is paid to win races not be the GC version of 2out
his uber focusing on the TDF does also not help, if he did a full spring campaign with classic and won lets say Paris-Nice, Catalunya and Fleche then the critiscim would be ALOT less than it is right now
the simply fact that he NEVER does NC, EU or WC is a stain on his "honour" for alot of danes and they dont like and even hate him for it

>In the fall – Walbrzych doctors immediately specified – he suffered no damage to the vital organs. Philip’s life is not in danger.” Yesterday afternoon the general manager of the UAE Emirates, Mauro Gianetti, flew to Poland. It should be noted that Walbrzych’s doctors immediately underwent surgery to place his collarbone, the least severe of fractures. Also last night Gianetti and the doctors of the UAE Emirates reiterated that Filippo's vital organs have not suffered damage. “Our rider – said Gianetti, Swiss from the Canton Ticino – is however in an induced coma. The doctors have brought him into deep sedation, his condition is stable.
