I've given up on trying to repair my life here. I'm going to save myself and go somewhere else and start over. I can get myself back together, I can't help anyone or anything else I care about because they don't want help, simple as. It's a total fucking shipwreck here anons and trying to be a good man has only dragged me down into the brine with them.

I'm in welding school for the next year or so. It's a good program and they have an awesome network and name if you wanna get a job somewhere. It's also a great career if you want independence and don't have a family at home; I want the former and the latter is going to be the case for me soon.

Where in the US should I try to move? I just want to be as unrestrained as possible by life and the farther away from where I am now the better. I'm a felon, so I can't leave the US and getting a pardon/expungement might still not allow me to leave and I don't feel like begging the fucking Pedocracy for jack shit.
